Capital Gains: Investing in People, Places and Progress
Reflects the heart of WACUHO and the work we do every day. It recognizes that our greatest impact comes from investing in the people who make our communities thrive, the places our students call home, and the progress that moves our profession forward.
As we gather in California’s capital city, WACE 2027 invites us to honor the experiences and relationships that have shaped our work while looking ahead with purpose, innovation, and hope. Together, we will explore how we can build welcoming, inclusive residential communities; strengthen our teams and institutions; and create meaningful experiences for the students we serve.
A huge shout-out to Chico State and Sacramento State for co-hosting WACE 2027!
Why Attend WACE?
Expand Your Network
WACE draws over 250 attendees from all professional levels across areas like Residential Life, Facilities, Business Operations, Student Conduct, and Summer Programs.
The exhibit hall hosts over 45+ corporate partners showcasing solutions to support student success, from software management, furniture solutions, laundry services, and more. With over 50+ regionally tailored programs, participants represent community colleges, private institutions, and universities from the UC, CSU, and Nevada systems.
71st WACE Conference
For more than seven decades, the WACUHO Annual Conference and Exposition (WACE) has brought together housing and residence life professionals from across the region to learn, connect, and advance our shared work.
The 71st WACE Conference will continue that tradition in Sacramento, bringing together colleagues from residential life, facilities, business operations, student conduct, summer programs, and other areas that support the residential student experience. Attendees can expect engaging educational sessions, meaningful networking, opportunities to connect with corporate partners, and time to renew the professional relationships that make WACUHO such a strong community.
